Elements and principles

Photo series "Unwrapped"

The two stacks of blue and red gum stacked aside each other create a sense of balance using symmetry.

Personal photo
The way this frame is centered to create a sense of balance and symmetry in the composition.

This artist's work is both tedious, and very well thought out.

Chris Ware's "Looking up"
I notice in this work the use of the line element, specifically the vertical or "stoic" lines in the buildings from the background.

All of the characters seen on this page hold a smartphone, this creates a sense of unity.

A few of my favorite things

William Esmail

A few of my favorite things.

1. A beautiful bouquet of paper flowers, hand made from scratch by my girlfriend.

2. My nametag from my part time job, given to me by on of my older sisters, an event manager at the treasury on the plaza, the wedding venue I work for.

3. An analog watch, gifted to me by one of my older sisters many, many years ago.

4. A pair of running shoes: a gift from my older brother.

5. A seashell, brought to me by my little brother when we were younger.

6. A projector bought by my closest friends and I last year, in what ended up being a failed business venture.
